What you will do

• Develop and modify technical deliverables, drawings, and project documentation using digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling).
• Apply standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, applicable codes, and BV policies to determine correct deliverable format and contents.
• Review design inputs and ensure deliverables comply with project-specific codes and standards; apply the BV Quality Program to deliverables.
• Perform design calculations, detailed material quantities, and estimates; record and maintain supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development; may support field activities.
• Handle difficult technical assignments within an area of expertise and provide technical guidance to other professionals and technicians.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements if selected (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
• Experience applying engineering design practices and established design concepts for moderately complex deliverables.
• Working knowledge of standards, document control, and compliance with applicable codes and BV policies.
