Principal Technical Pre-Sales Architect (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for priority AWS co-sell opportunities across EMEA.
• Run client-facing technical deep-dives with AWS Solutions Architects and client engineering teams.
• Design reusable AWS reference architectures and establish standards for delivery teams.
• Scope and lead proof-of-concept work designed to become production systems.
• Build trusted technical relationships with AWS Solutions Architects, Specialist SAs, and ProServe.
• Advise alliance and client leadership on AWS architecture strategy and priority service roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• Deep hands-on AWS expertise with a record of delivered projects.
• Experience leading demos and POCs that support competitive pursuits.
• Strong command of enterprise architecture patterns and their practical application.
• Experience in a global systems integrator, agency, or professional services environment.
• Ability to work in the London hybrid setup, with office attendance averaging four days per week.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or specialty certifications in ML or Data Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and generative AI implementations.
• Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud and advertising technology.
• Experience with AWS partner companies, AWS, or AWS co-sell motions.
• Familiarity with vertical compliance requirements.
