What you will do

• Perform chromosome analysis and case reviews on bone marrow, blood, prenatal, and tissue samples.
• Execute wet lab duties, including sample setup, harvest, slide dropping, and banding.
• Oversee activities of lower-level personnel and provide technical guidance.
• Suggest and implement process improvements and contribute to protocol development.
• Troubleshoot wet lab issues and maintain high productivity with 100% accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Cytogenetic Technologist.
• Certification/registration as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Clinical Lab Specialist in Cytogenetics (NCA) is required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Houston, TX.
