Salesforce QA Automation Engineer (Provar Required)

Location: Fully remote, but U.S. Citizenship is required; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated Salesforce test scripts using Provar Test Automation and Selenium.
• Build test plans, strategies, cases, scripts, traceability matrices, execution reports, and automated testing frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, manual, accessibility, database, and deployment validation testing.
• Validate Salesforce requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system behavior with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and client stakeholders.
• Manage Jira-based test execution and defect lifecycles, perform root cause analysis, and lead User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Integrate automated testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, support release management, and report on coverage, effectiveness, defect trends, and quality indicators.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of QA and software testing experience, including at least 3 years of Salesforce testing and 2 years designing and maintaining Provar automated test suites.
• Hands-on experience with Provar, Selenium WebDriver, JavaScript, Java, HTML, XPath, CSS selectors, browser automation, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms, DevOps pipelines, GitHub, Jira or similar tools, Agile Scrum, SQL, and Salesforce SOQL.
• Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, custom applications, and Salesforce Mobile App, including automated accessibility testing.

Nice to have

• Provar Test Automation, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, CSTE, or CSQA certification.
• Section 508 compliance experience and familiarity with Axe, WAVE, ANDI, JAWS, or NVDA.
• Experience with Federal Government Salesforce programs, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, regulated environments, complex integrations, or data migrations.
