What you will do

• Act as the final approval for client copy from a strategy and quality standpoint.
• Optimize content for SEO/GEO best practices, including keyword integration, internal linking, and meta elements.
• Thoroughly fact-check all claims, statistics, and references for accuracy.
• Provide actionable editorial feedback and strategic coaching to writers.
• Review and edit Digital PR assets, including press pitches, data studies, and expert commentary.
• Maintain and improve AI editing tools (Grammarly) to ensure adherence to client style guides.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in content editing, digital publishing, journalism, content marketing, or PR.
• 3–5 years of experience working within an agency environment.
• Strong command of AP style and exceptional attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals and how content supports organic growth.
• Experience optimizing long-form guides, thought leadership, and SEO-driven articles.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management systems.

Nice to have

• 4-year degree in English, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience with SEO tools and content optimization platforms.
• Background editing content for health, legal, finance, SaaS, or technology industries.
• Experience with data journalism and translating statistics into narratives.
