What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Read blueprints and perform quality inspections to ensure quartz stone meets exact design specifications and tolerances.
• Load raw materials and supervise the automated cutting process.
• Operate overhead cranes or vacuum lifts to place slabs on CNC tables.
• Perform daily safety inspections of all equipment and maintain a clutter-free work area.
• Communicate with leadership to troubleshoot issues and cross-train on multiple types of equipment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Kent, OH.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision.
• Strong aptitude for machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
• Basic computer, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to have

• 1-2+ years of experience in machining.
• Post-secondary education in machining.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
