CNC Machinist

What you will do

• Operate CNC machinery including drills and saws to process steel structures.
• Measure finished workpieces using precision instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Mount, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces using hand tools and hoists.
• Monitor machine performance to detect issues like dull tools or vibration and adjust controls accordingly.
• Modify cutting programs as needed to resolve operational problems.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Eunice, LA.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schedules.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and basic math aptitude.
• Ability to complete on-site training and demonstrate safe machinery operation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
