What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across market selection, liquidity, operations, and resolution.
• Drive market listing strategy and develop frameworks for evaluating event significance and tradability.
• Own market structure, including tick sizes, fees, and rebates to ensure tight spreads and durable liquidity.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with market makers, trading firms, and liquidity providers.
• Collaborate with external partners in media, sports, and politics to shape resolution strategies.
• Define scalable systems for market creation and maintenance while owning resolution credibility.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial markets, with a background leading a markets function at an exchange or a senior sell-side desk.
• Deep expertise in market microstructure, specifically how spreads, incentives, and product structure interact.
• Proven ability to build conditions that attract durable capital and institutional liquidity.
• Experience with market governance and the ability to own high-stakes resolution decisions.
• Established professional network across market makers and liquidity providers.
• Must be based in New York for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience with prediction markets, binary options, or derivatives.
• Background in high-growth fintech or early-stage startup environments.
• Experience operating an exchange in novel or emerging asset classes.
