What you will do

• Design and build a first-class machine learning platform managing the entire model lifecycle from feature engineering to online serving.
• Develop and evaluate algorithms for ad relevance, demographic inference, and yield optimization using statistical modeling techniques.
• Perform low-level systems debugging and performance optimization on large-scale production clusters.
• Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to deliver impactful, scalable advertising solutions.
• Identify and generate high-value features for multiple use cases and models.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX and able to work in the office Monday through Thursday.
• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning on real-world use cases.
• Proficient coding skills in Python, Java, or Spark.
• Experience with distributed ML frameworks like Spark-MLlib or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with real-time model evaluation under low latency constraints.
• Strong background in large-scale computing frameworks and NoSQL stores.
