What you will do

• Research, report, and write daily segments for the weekend show.
• Write and suggest interview questions for each segment.
• Determine video and sound for assigned segments.
• Coordinate daily story development with the senior producer.
• Be in the control room during the live airing of segments.
• Contribute to editorial planning and create content for digital platforms, social media, and DTC products; pitch story ideas.

Requirements

• Location: Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Work authorization: Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Schedule: Must be willing to work weekends.
• At least 5 years of experience in journalism (cable/network news, website, or newspaper).
• Strong writing, research, and reporting skills, including knowledge of American politics.
• Ability to handle daily script deadline pressure and flexible hours under tight deadlines, including breaking news.
