What you will do

• Create and manage timely written content by monitoring news sources and identifying key storylines.
• Craft engaging headlines and social media messaging to drive audience interaction.
• Collaborate with the Content Group to pair articles with exclusive video and podcast segments.
• Edit content from team producers and insiders to ensure consistent voice and tone.
• Participate in content ideation planning and editorial strategy meetings.
• Coordinate with distribution partners to maximize the reach of sports content.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in Needham, Massachusetts.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced news environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Boston-area professional sports teams.
• Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS and social media publishing tools.
• Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to appear as a forward-facing contributor on digital and linear programming.

Nice to have
