Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 yearly

What you will do

• Own original stories from concept to publication, including reporting, shooting, editing, and distribution.
• Produce diverse journalism ranging from breaking news and explanatory reporting to longform digital features.
• Develop and manage recurring digital franchises and serialized storytelling formats.
• Create and package compelling video content for social, streaming, and emerging platforms.
• Collaborate with newsroom leadership and talent to enhance storytelling and audience impact.
• Experiment with new technologies and formats to evolve audience engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing original journalism for digital-first audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and professional camera systems such as Sony FX6 or FX3.
• Strong reporting, writing, and interviewing skills with exceptional editorial judgment.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Washington D.C..
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

• Experience using livestreaming as both a storytelling format and an audience-development tool.
• Ability to write conversationally and think visually for native platform experiences.
