Salary: $93,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Produce live segments from pitch to air, including research, scripting, and element gathering.
• Write sharp anchor intros, questions, and teases under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with guests, correspondents, and booking teams to identify the strongest story angles.
• Lead segments in the control room during live broadcasts, adjusting for breaking news.
• Ensure all content meets NBC News standards for accuracy, fairness, and visual quality.
• Edit video elements and oversee packages to enhance visual storytelling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in broadcast, cable, or streaming news.
• 3+ years of experience producing live daily news segments.
• Must be willing to work early morning hours (4:00am–12:00pm ET).
• Must be able to contribute in person at 30 Rock, New York.
• Strong editorial judgment and excellent writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and make smart decisions under tight deadlines.
