Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Collaborate with correspondents and editors to produce daily AM news packages.
• Gather and organize video, sound, and other essential elements for production.
• Draft script shells and item templates for daily news segments.
• Provide writing support for correspondents during breaking news and developing stories.
• Coordinate daily AM reporter live shots and maintain booking sheets.
• Oversee the publication of package items to the internal Orbit system.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in affiliate or network news.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications.
• Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours during major breaking news events.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work from the office at least four days per week.
