Senior Ingestion Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a full-cycle data ETL pipeline providing data to key stakeholders.
• Implement end-to-end features to expand capacity and enhance user experiences.
• Collaborate with the product team to ideate, develop, and deploy new platform features.
• Advocate for and implement software engineering best practices to maintain high code quality.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Participate in on-call duties to ensure system stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience owning and leading technical projects in collaboration with other technical teams.
• Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems such as Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
• Experience using AI coding assistants like Cursor or Claude Code.
