What you will do

• Build and own production backend services developed in Python.
• Manage data-heavy systems including analytics, metrics, and logging using SQL.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and debugging for high-scale user-facing systems.
• Deliver maintainable software through rigorous testing, code reviews, and incremental delivery.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience building production backend services in Python.
• Advanced SQL skills and confidence working with complex data systems.
• Proven experience with monitoring and debugging user-facing production environments.
• Ability to ship high-quality software with a focus on maintainability and testing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
• Experience with APIs and authentication (OAuth2, GA4, and Google Search Analytics API).
• Experience working with non-structured data such as referrers and canonical URLs.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark.
