What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS.
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions following modern software design principles.
• Drive architectural implementation of clean, reusable solutions across services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security teams for high-quality software delivery.
• Mentor peers and junior engineers through thoughtful collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Utilize AI-based development tools to build high-performance AdTech products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering for enterprise-grade applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing scalable, high-availability microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python 3 (technical assessment required).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and optimized SQL queries.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or other cloud-native search technologies.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, and secret management.
• Understanding of digital advertising platforms like Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, or DV360.
• Awareness of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and PHI.
