What you will do

• Design and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed on AWS across multiple technical domains.
• Develop high-performance, scalable microservices following modern software design principles.
• Drive the implementation of clean, reusable architectural solutions across services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to improve overall code quality.
• Utilize AI-based development tools to build high-quality AdTech products.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering for enterprise-grade applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing scalable, high-availability microservices and cloud-native architectures (IaC).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and optimized SQL queries.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or other cloud-native search technologies.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as New Relic and Sentry.
• Understanding of digital advertising ecosystems (Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, etc.).
• Awareness of healthcare compliance standards and regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and PHI.
