What you will do
- Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Design governance frameworks to ensure long-term cloud efficiency and cost control.
- Analyze complex cloud usage patterns and spending trends to identify waste.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement architectural improvements and cost-saving recommendations.
- Design and optimize reporting and analytics systems for cloud financial visibility.
- Lead discovery sessions and present technical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must have deep, proven FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience.
- Strong proficiency in AWS, SQL, and Python.
- Must have customer-facing consulting experience.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience driving measurable cost reduction initiatives in large environments.
- Must be based in US Time Zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Familiarity with AI tools in engineering or analytics workflows.
- Experience with LLMs and AI-assisted development.
