What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded software for machine features, attachments, and displays.
• Own system-level control architecture to ensure reliability, safety, and long-term product robustness.
• Perform advanced system-level analysis to resolve complex integrated software and hardware issues.
• Create and govern technical software and system documentation across the full product lifecycle.
• Plan and execute system verification, including test planning, execution, and data analysis.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership to manufacturing, commercial teams, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded software, systems integration, or machine performance.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong system-level troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and integrated systems.
• Experience delivering embedded software solutions across the full SDLC.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Clayton, NC; US work sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience in machine performance analysis or embedded software creation.
• Experience with CANape, CANalyzer, and protocols such as CAN and J1939.
• Experience with Git-based configuration management and Agile/DevOps environments.
• Experience designing modular and scalable software architectures.
