TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Infrastructure & Capital Projects): Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities for public infrastructure projects with an accent on capture management and strategic pursuits. Focus on building high-value pipelines, coordinating with regional leaders, and developing win themes for government contracts.

Location: Hybrid (Los Angeles, CA). Must be based in the Southern California area.

Salary: $160,000 - $250,000 a year

What you will do

  • Partner with Sub-Industry and Regional leaders to identify and pursue new client and project opportunities.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities using Deltek CRM based on industry intel and client meetings.
  • Represent the company at major industry events and conferences such as CMAA, CASH, CCFC, SSDA, and ACEC.
  • Develop pursuit strategies and Capture Plans, outlining key dates, win themes, and differentiators.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams on promotional materials and coordinate efforts with lobbyists and outside consultants.
  • Create client presentations and coordinate kickoff meetings with teaming partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • 5 years of experience in program or construction management.
  • 5 years of experience supporting business development, capture management, and strategic pursuits.
  • Established network of public agency clients and industry partners within the AEC/PMCM industry.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and pursuit processes.
  • Experience with Deltek CRM.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
