What you will do

• Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, and engineering diagrams.
• Perform wiring subassemblies including crimping, stripping, cutting, and bundling wires.
• Connect wires to components and route cables in an orderly fashion.
• Ensure quality workmanship and accurate labeling of all components.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly production work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical/mechanical components or completion of a technical vocational program.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math skills and understanding of hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Must be able to differentiate between colored wires and components.
