What you will do
- Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, and engineering diagrams.
- Perform wiring subassemblies including crimping, stripping, cutting, and bundling wires.
- Connect wires to components and route cables in an orderly fashion.
- Ensure quality workmanship and accurate labeling of all components.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly production work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in wiring or installing electrical/mechanical components or completion of a technical vocational program.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
- Basic math skills and understanding of hand tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Must be able to differentiate between colored wires and components.
