Salary: $360,000 – $400,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing guidance on corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
• Drive IPO readiness by maintaining pristine corporate histories and rigorous diligence materials for potential public market entry or M&A milestones.
• Navigate the cybersecurity legal landscape and regulatory changes to ensure compliance while operating at the edge of the threat environment.
• Architect automated legal and compliance engines to handle high-velocity customer and partner agreements.
• Manage and defend the organization against litigation, employment matters, and privacy concerns such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Develop scalable playbooks for international expansion, including localized legal and employment frameworks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading a corporate legal function, preferably as General Counsel or Deputy General Counsel in a fast-growing tech or cybersecurity organization.
• Proven experience advising a Board of Directors and managing legal strategy for venture capital financing, M&A, or public market transitions.
• Deep knowledge of the cybersecurity legal landscape, threat intelligence, and data privacy regulations.
• Track record of protecting intellectual property through global patent and trademark strategies.
• Experience building international employment and compliance frameworks for rapid geographic expansion.
• Must be based in the United States.
