What you will do

• Perform daily inspections of roadway, grading, paving, and related civil work.
• Ensure construction work is performed in compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.
• Verify contractor compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and client representatives.
• Monitor materials testing, quantities, and field changes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of roadway or heavy civil inspection experience.
• 2+ years of experience on bridge, roadway, or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Location: Must be based in Riverside, CA for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of Caltrans standards and specifications.
• Certifications such as NICET, Caltrans, or equivalent.
