What you will do

• Identify friction, duplication, and risk within Legal operations across all sub-functions to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate the Legal function's transformation roadmap and manage a prioritized portfolio of initiatives.
• Drive projects end-to-end, from scoping and kickoff to rollout, adoption, and post-launch iteration.
• Evaluate and implement AI tools and legal technology to automate routine work and increase attorney leverage.
• Partner with attorneys to create structured playbooks, prompts, and decision frameworks for AI tools.
• Develop a reporting framework to evaluate Legal's performance, capacity, efficiency, and risk trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in legal operations, legal technology, or program management.
• Demonstrated track record of shipping workflow automation or AI-enabled tooling that improved business metrics.
• Exceptional fluency with AI tools, including frontier assistants, prompt engineering, and custom AI workflows.
• Strong technical instincts regarding APIs, integrations, and the trade-offs between point solutions and platform approaches.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating playbooks, documentation, and leadership updates.
• Must be based in New York, New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM), entity management, or e-billing platforms.
• Background in HR tech, fintech, PEO, or EOR in a regulated B2B environment.
• Light scripting ability in Python or SQL for data pulls and prototyping.
• Experience supporting an international legal function or multi-entity organization.
