What you will do

• Lead a distributed engineering team across platform engineering, QA, DevOps, and AI implementation.
• Own delivery, quality, release discipline, and execution of the technical roadmap.
• Establish engineering discipline including automated testing, CI/CD, and release governance.
• Drive perimeter-safe deployments, infrastructure-as-code, and SOC 2 readiness.
• Partner with the Chief Architect on connector frameworks, metadata models, and architecture decisions.
• Assess talent, hire for gaps, and align team structure with business goals.

Requirements

• Proven engineering leadership experience in startup or early-stage environments.
• Hands-on technical depth in data platforms, metadata, or backend systems.
• Experience leading distributed or offshore teams across time zones.
• Security and compliance literacy including SOC 2, audit logging, and secure deployment.

• Experience taking early-stage products to enterprise-grade maturity.
• Background in regulated industries like financial services, insurance, or healthcare.
• Familiarity with graph data, lineage, or migration impact-analysis.
