Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Diego, CA (Hybrid: Tuesdays & Thursdays in-office)

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 USD

What you will do

• Support the funding process for construction-phase projects involving tax equity, cash equity, and lenders.
• Identify and execute valuation maximization opportunities, including refinancings, buyouts, and restructurings.
• Maintain and update complex tax equity tracking models to monitor financial outcomes and flip dates.
• Manage cash distribution waterfall processes and calculate ongoing Pay-Go invoicing for operating projects.
• Coordinate deliverables with 3rd party advisors including engineers and insurance consultants.
• Summarize project transaction status, risks, and economic outcomes for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering.
• 0-4 years of experience in project finance, portfolio finance, or M&A within the energy sector.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in DCF, IRR, and NPV analysis.
• Experience building or auditing complex project finance models.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Diego, CA.
