Salary: $250,000 - $325,000 a year

What you will do

• Provide executive leadership across all project phases, including pre-construction, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee multiple design-build and alternative delivery contracts, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with client executive leadership, legal teams, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead contract administration, including change management, claims avoidance, risk management, and compliance.
• Establish project governance and performance metrics consistent with rail standards and FTA requirements.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams covering quality assurance, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the management and delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects, preferably within Southern California.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (California PE strongly preferred).
• Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles, CA.

Nice to have

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Prior experience with LA Metro projects or similar large urban transit systems.
• Familiarity with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) New Starts program compliance and reporting.
• Proven track record with alternative delivery methods (e.g., Design-Build, CM/GC, P3).
