What you will do

• Develop and strengthen executive-level relationships with clients across California’s water sector.
• Lead proposal strategies, define win themes, and participate in shortlist interviews for high-value projects.
• Provide senior-level geotechnical expertise for dams, tunnels, levees, and conveyance systems.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables and guide risk management and budget forecasting.
• Mentor junior engineers and expand hirify.global’s geotechnical market share in the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant geotechnical experience.
• Active California PE license.
• Must be based in the US; no sponsorship or relocation offered.
• Proven ability to influence project awards through relationship management and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater and conveyance infrastructure.
• Active California GE license or ability to obtain it within 6 months.
• Project Management experience on complex public infrastructure programs.
