What you will do

• Apply Lean Manufacturing methods (e.g., Value Stream Design, 5S, standardized processes) in production environments.
• Analyze manufacturing systems to identify improvement potential across processes, layouts, capacities, and material flows.
• Create and evaluate layout and value stream concepts using data analysis and simulations where appropriate.
• Develop production and assembly concepts (line design, workstation concepts, material supply) and support industrialization and ramp-up phases.
• Prepare, facilitate, and support workshops, planning sessions, and improvement events with customers and colleagues.
• Contribute to manufacturing digitalization initiatives (e.g., data-supported planning, digital factory tools) and collaborate on implementation on the shop floor.

Requirements

• 2 years (Junior) or 4–6 years (Senior) of professional experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, Lean manufacturing, factory planning, or technical consulting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Practical understanding of production and assembly systems, including layouts, capacities, and material flows.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing methods (e.g., Value Stream Mapping/Analysis, 5S).
• Fluency in German and business-level proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel.
