Software Engineer III (Integrations)

Location: Remote within the US; proximity to the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area is required.

What you will do

• Architect and design complex integrations using Prismatic in full-code environments.
• Own the lifecycle of the customer-facing API, including design, scaling, and reliability improvements.
• Lead technical discovery for major features and translate complex customer workflows into reliable software.
• Define integration standards and improve code quality through reviews, pairing, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with product, support, and customer success teams to balance internal and external requirements.
• Participate in technical interviews, hiring decisions, and follow-up on engineering risks and improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of integration software development experience and a record of leading projects from design through delivery.
• Expertise in Prismatic, Node.js, TypeScript, API design, scalable integrations, and software design patterns.
• Experience building, optimizing, and scaling integrations and cloud-based web technologies.
• Experience mentoring engineers, communicating effectively, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers or customer-facing teams.
• Fluency with AI tools and workflows, using sound judgment in their practical application.
• Must be able to work remotely within the US and be near the Charlotte, NC metro area.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Experience in the SaaS industry.
• PHP and SQL experience.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative, rapidly changing environment.
