Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Build, operate, and lead key components of backend services.
• Collaborate with UX designers, data scientists, and other cross-functional partners.
• Design scalable and maintainable software architecture.
• Use feedback loops and data-driven methods to define and refine product features.
• Apply agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and engineering best practices throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in modern software development environments.
• Proven record of delivering scalable and maintainable systems.
• Expertise in system design and software architecture.
• Production experience building and scaling backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Production Apple StoreKit and Stripe payments or subscriptions experience for a B2C product.
• Willingness to adopt emerging AI tools, frameworks, and engineering practices.
