What you will do

• Develop inspection and testing procedures for returned components to perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze warranty performance data using tracking tools and customer website data.
• Lead weekly warranty review meetings with Engineering, Sales, and Plant personnel to track corrective actions.
• Manage customer and supplier communications utilizing the 8D process.
• Forecast and report warranty costs in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Inspect prototype tested assemblies and generate technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education.
• Strong mechanical skills to identify product deficiencies.
• Proven problem-solving experience using 8D, 5 Why, and/or Red X tools.
• Competence in quality-related statistics and process controls.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and preferably Minitab.
• Ability to travel internationally when needed.

Nice to have

• Past experience in warranty or Technical Service.
• Background in drivetrain component products and applications.
• A.S.Q. Certified Quality Engineer certification.
