What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product reliability engineers, ensuring technical execution and accountability.
• Partner with Program Management and Integrated Product Teams to align requirements, design intent, and production capability.
• Own execution of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables, including FMEA and control plans.
• Lead structured root cause investigations (8D, 5 Whys) and corrective action efforts for product failures.
• Develop and standardize reliability tools, templates, and best practices across multiple programs.
• Track and report reliability metrics and readiness to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in product reliability, quality, manufacturing, or validation engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience leading projects or direct management of engineers.
• Experience solving complex engineering problems using structured methodologies.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Torrance, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with Six Sigma, DOE, or Fault Tree Analysis.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing, machining, and adhesive bonding.
• Knowledge of automotive and aerospace industry standards.
• Experience with NX/Teamcenter, SQL, or PowerBI.
