What you will do

• Serve as the teacher of record for home learners within an asynchronous online environment.
• Grade student assignments and provide comprehensive, timely feedback to ensure academic growth.
• Proactively monitor student progress and communicate with parents and students to address concerns.
• Hold regularly scheduled appointment hours from Monday through Friday to support learners.
• Uphold the vision, mission, and statement of faith of Ignite Christian Academy in all interactions.
• Manage student records in the Student Information System and report academic integrity or behavioral issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and an active teaching certification (Advanced degree in Biblical Studies/Theology may replace certification for Bible Teachers).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer (Chromebooks, iPads, or tablets are not permitted).
• Availability: 40 hours per week for full-time roles or 15-25 hours per week for part-time roles, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to uphold the school's vision, mission, and statement of faith.
