What you will do

• Build and manage a team of 7+ engineers to execute the data automation vision and roadmap.
• Define the technical and organizational vision for the Data Automation team.
• Design and operate reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for mission-critical analytics infrastructure.
• Own frameworks used to provision, update, test, and scale infrastructure serving 183,000+ customers.
• Optimize analytics systems providing insights on hundreds of terabytes of data.
• Transform operational workflows by integrating AI to build smarter systems from the ground up.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in a DevOps environment with a focus on data processing systems.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Must be able to work hybrid 3x/week from the Boston office.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating high-performance distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go using industry best practices.
• Practical experience experimenting with AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
