Infrastructure & Capital Projects Data Center SME (Data Centers): Leading the development and delivery of large-scale data center infrastructure with an accent on Hyperscale facilities, MEP systems, and commissioning. Focus on overseeing complex capital projects, managing business development, and leading senior technical teams to ensure successful project handover.

Location: Hybrid (San Antonio, TX). Some travel is required to meet clients or oversee projects.

Salary: $250,000 - $310,000 a year

What you will do

• Oversee and advise on all aspects of client capital projects from concept and initiation through completion and handover.
• Lead business development teams and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and strategic objectives for the data center business sector.
• Manage and develop senior leaders, setting accountabilities, priorities, and ensuring psychological safety within the team.
• Act as a subject matter expert in internal and client-facing meetings to solve complex infrastructure challenges.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and General Contractors to ensure construction activities align with budget and timelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in San Antonio, TX (Hybrid).
• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in construction and commissioning project delivery.
• 10+ years of functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
• 5+ years in the data center industry with strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Commissioning.
• 3+ years of specific experience with Hyperscale (>30MW) Data Centers.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications: PE, CCM, PMP, CFE, COA, or LEED.
• Master’s Degree.
• Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera.
