What you will do

• Maintain mission and system-level requirements, monitoring allocation and verification.
• Develop and maintain mission performance mathematical models and tools to support industrial development.
• Manage performance and error budgets and propose corrective actions for deviations.
• Support payload teams with instrument performance flow-down and verification.
• Oversee End-to-End simulator and Ground Processor Prototype (GPP) activities.
• Coordinate with Mission Users and the Scientific Community regarding mission and product definitions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in physical science or engineering.
• Experience in performance assessment of optical instrumentation for atmospheric observation, including image processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Must be based in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Earth limb observation systems.
• Knowledge of aerosols and ozone observational data.
• Knowledge of another European language.
