Location: Hybrid in Marousi, Greece

What you will do
- Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from requirements capturing to testing.
- Write efficient and well-designed Java code for products hosted on-premises and in the cloud.
- Review and refactor existing code to enhance platform reliability, performance, and operability.
- Work within a high-performance Scrumban team to incrementally deliver business value.
- Lead large product initiatives and provide technical coaching to less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business teams to implement strategic technology deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience with the Java programming language.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful applications using Spring Boot or related frameworks.
- Experience with AWS, Cloud Native applications, and Microservice architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.
- Comfortability working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with caching strategies using Redis or Hazelcast.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
- Experience leading small teams of developers.
- Frontend experience with HTML, JavaScript, or React.
