Senior Employee & Labor Relations Manager

What you will do

• Lead and shape the end-to-end ER/LR strategy for the Netherlands in alignment with global HR goals.
• Act as the subject matter expert on Dutch labour law, collective labour agreements, and ER frameworks.
• Manage relationships and consultation processes with local Works Councils and the European Works Council (EWC).
• Provide expert guidance on restructurings, reorganisations, dismissals, and complex employee matters.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Legal to identify and mitigate ER/LR risks.
• Build ER/LR capability and governance within the HR community and leadership teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Employee & Labour Relations specifically within the Netherlands.
• Deep expertise in Dutch labour law and Works Council legislation.
• Proven experience managing European Works Councils and related legal processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience supporting organisational change and complex restructurings.
• English: C1+ (excellent communication skills) required; Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred.
