Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, NL). Applicants must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands without requiring sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a team of People Operations professionals across four European countries using a shared service mindset.
  • Drive the growth and optimization of Workday HRIS as the global source of truth for people data.
  • Manage end-to-end compensation administration, including pay reviews, bonuses, and living wage increases.
  • Oversee international benefits and leave of absence programs in collaboration with various vendors.
  • Design and improve employee self-service tools for Tier 0 and Tier 1 relationship topics.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Talent Acquisition to align operational roadmaps and payroll visibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading People Operations teams within an international, matrixed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with labor laws across various European countries.
  • High proficiency with large-scale HRIS platforms, ideally Workday.
  • Experience managing a shared services model using tools like JIRA and tiered support structures.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills for partnering with senior management.
  • Legal right to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in HR consulting focused on shared services for mid-sized companies.
  • Familiarity with payroll or collective labor agreements in the Netherlands, Spain, or France.
  • Experience managing a mix of office-based and frontline employees.
