Location: Hybrid in Valencia, Madrid, or Barcelona, or Remote within Spain

What you will do
- Monitor and adjust gas portfolio positions (PVB, TVB, AVB) daily, tracking Mark-to-Market, P&L, and hedge coverage.
- Develop and improve short, medium, and long-term consumption forecasts considering customer growth, seasonality, and weather.
- Analyze gas market fundamentals including LNG flows, storage levels, and geopolitical events.
- Support gas tariff pricing by translating market costs and risk assumptions into competitive retail offers.
- Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Commercial teams to align forecasts and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvements through internal tools, data automation, and reporting optimization.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in energy markets and portfolio risk management focused on natural gas.
- Deep understanding of Iberian and European gas markets (MIBGAS, TTF) and hedging products.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish and fluent working-level English.
- Must be based in Spain.
Nice to have
- Postgraduate degree in Quantitative Finance, Energy Economics, or Engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of Spanish gas sector regulations (CNMC, CORES, ENAGAS, MIBGAS).
- Experience building dynamic dashboards and BI tools (Lightdash, Power BI, Tableau).
