TL;DR
Technical Project Manager (IT Infrastructure): Leading the planning and delivery of large-scale infrastructure, network, cloud, telephony, and retail technology projects with an accent on vendor management, contract negotiation, stakeholder alignment, and quality assurance. Focus on modernising core systems, coordinating SIT and UAT, managing budgets and risks, and deploying technology across multi-site hospitality and retail operations.
Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office; Sydney or Melbourne, Australia
This is a 12-month fixed-term position.

What you will do
- Lead and support delivery of technical projects across IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, telephony, operating systems, hardware, and data centers.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, project plans, deliverables, and actionable tasks.
- Coordinate technical teams and business stakeholders while managing risks, budgets, timelines, quality, and executive reporting.
- Plan and oversee system integration testing and user acceptance testing before deployment.
- Manage vendor and managed service provider relationships, including contract drafting, review, negotiation, and delivery oversight.
- Deploy and integrate technology across multi-site hospitality and retail operations with minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management and large-scale IT project delivery.
- Experience with WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, telecommunications services, virtualisation, cloud services such as Azure or GCP, EUC, certificate management, and data center technologies.
- Proven experience in technology vendor contract management and negotiation, including work with managed service providers.
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
- Significant experience delivering projects in the retail or hospitality sector; PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar certification is desirable.

- Experience with Google Suite, ServiceNow, or Planview.
