Senior Associate, Nexus, Client Delivery (Fund Accounting)

Location: Hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Prepare NAVs, book accruals, value assets, and perform cash and portfolio reconciliations.
• Calculate and allocate capital calls, distributions, investor transactions, and profit and loss.
• Prepare management fee and waterfall schedules in line with fund documents.
• Produce NAV packages and other deliverables defined by service-level agreements.
• Support audited financial statements, audit requests, and applicable regulatory services.
• Coordinate deliverables and ad hoc requests with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting or a relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting, audit, or fund administration experience in real estate or property accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, including consolidated profit and loss and balance sheet accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and openness to adopting new technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with Yardi or other accounting software.
• Professional accounting qualification.
