What you will do
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
- Prepare draft financial statements, working papers, and supporting documentation for review.
- Manage GST preparation, reconciliation, lodgment support, and related compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular bank, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with cash flow reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies and maintain efficient workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a public practice environment.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
- Must be based in the Philippines (specifically Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with New Zealand accounting and taxation systems.
- Experience with FYI and Figured for cash flow management.
- Knowledge of XPM.
