Collections Specialist

TL;DR

Collections Specialist (Finance): Managing the accounts receivable portfolio and optimizing cash collections with an accent on dispute resolution and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on reducing DSO, ensuring SOX compliance, and managing high-volume B2B/B2C accounts.

Location: Hybrid (BGC, Taguig City, Philippines). Work schedule: Graveyard shift from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila time.

What you will do

• Conduct proactive outreach to customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities for assigned portfolios.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes, billing discrepancies, and returns (RMAs).
• Document all collection activities and customer interactions within internal systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Order Management, and Revenue Operations to address customer concerns.
• Prepare periodic reports on collection performance, outstanding balances, and ledger reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in B2B and/or B2C collections, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must be based in the Philippines and available for on-site presence in BGC, Taguig City twice a week.
• Flexibility to work a graveyard shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila time).

Nice to have

• Background in Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce CPQ.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba Cloud, Coupa, and various U.S. Government portals.
