What you will do

• Commission AV systems at client sites, optimizing settings to ensure performance matches design intent and scope.
• Document all system changes via redlines and complete project quality checklists.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by tracing signal flow and coordinating with project stakeholders.
• Configure AV networks and coordinate with client network teams.
• Create and modify DSP files, specifically focusing on AEC optimization for videoconferencing.
• Provide technical feedback to installation and design teams to improve future system implementations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Associates degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in AV field installation or systems design.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex AV and network systems, including MTR and Zoom Rooms.
• DSP certification from manufacturers such as Biamp, QSC, or BSS.
• Control certification from QSC, Extron, or Crestron.
• Ability to lift at least 40lbs, climb ladders, and travel frequently to jobsites.

Nice to have

• Experience with broadcast or hybrid conference-live event systems.
• Certifications: Extron AVE Associate, Audinate Dante Level 3, Biamp Tesira Server, Q-Sys Level 2/Control 201, or AVIXA CTS.
• Ability to perform remote commissioning via virtual connections.
