What you will do

• Lead the monthly close process and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and the implementation of accounting best practices.
• Ensure consistent compliance with US GAAP, FASB, and SEC guidance, particularly for digital assets.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and accounts receivable.
• Manage digital asset reporting and reconciliations.
• Build, mentor, and lead the internal Accounting team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience, including time at a Big 4 firm.
• 2+ years of recent professional experience in a crypto-native company.
• Active CPA license holder.
• Experience leading financial audits with external partners.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, financial planning tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
