Assembly/Harnessing Technician (Aerospace)

Salary: $28.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble high-reliability chassis, final assemblies, electronic assemblies, mechanical assemblies, and wire harnesses.
• Perform complex soldering and crimping operations, including circuit-board, jumper-wire, and harness repairs.
• Interpret assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other written and oral instructions.
• Follow electrostatic discharge procedures, clean components, and maintain traceability, configuration, and manufacturing records.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to diagnose intricate assemblies, define rework, and improve testing and worksheet processes.
• Travel to customer facilities when required to service hirify.global hardware.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is valued.
• At least five years of electrical assembly and soldering experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as aerospace or medical-device manufacturing.
• J-STD solder certification is required; NASA certification is preferred.
• Ability to work directly from engineering drawings and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
