TL;DR
Production Technician I (Weekend) (Aerospace): Performing automated and manual testing, calibration, and adjustment of aerospace production units with an accent on interpreting engineering documentation, calculating electrical and mechanical parameters, and identifying non-conforming conditions. Focus on executing vibration, thermal cycle, leak, hydraulic, and other performance tests while documenting failures and supporting root cause investigations.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite

Salary: $24.64–$32.47 per hour

What you will do

  • Perform automated and manual testing of production units using specialized test equipment and consoles.
  • Calibrate and adjust units using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and dimensional techniques.
  • Interpret work orders, engineering drawings, test procedures, manuals, and production specifications.
  • Create non-conformance reports documenting test results, failures, and initial root cause investigation findings.
  • Test products across additional programs and more complex units under close supervision.
  • Support 5S, KPI, standard work, problem-solving, customer visits, and internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or repair product flow and computer systems.
  • Ability to learn test software and equipment, identify non-conforming conditions, and work across time-entry, data-entry, training, PDM, and MRP systems.
  • Good spoken and written English communication, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with precision, use a microscope and computer, lift up to 35 pounds, and push up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, manufacturing costs, and distribution techniques.
  • AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent practical knowledge.
  • Experience with soldering or microscope-based work.
